Biography:
Amy was born and raised in New Albany, Indiana. She attended Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree, graduating in 2001. At Earlham, she majored in Human Development and Social Relations, a multi-disciplinary course of study which incorporated philosophy, psychology, and sociology. She also minored in Spanish and spent a semester in Valencia, Spain. After graduating from Earlham, Amy spent five years as Education Coordinator and then Director of Programs for the Epilepsy Foundation of Kentuckiana, based in Louisville, Kentucky.
Amy graduated from the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law in December of 2009. While in law school, Amy clerked for the New Albany City Attorney, the Clark County Prosecutor and various private firms. She also served as research assistant for Professor Tony Arnold, working on a land use planning grant.
Amy was admitted to the Indiana Bar in May of 2010. She has since joined the firm of Nick Stein. She is also focusing her practice on serving the needs of the local Hispanic community.
