A Southern Indiana wreck left one dead and three injured.

Just before midnight on Thursday, one vehicle was involved in an Indiana wreck. In Switzerland County, Indiana, a car veered off Markland Pike Road and crashed into a tree. Four Indiana wreck victims were inside the car at the time of the crash. One car crash victim was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck. One victim was quickly freed from the wreckage and sent via ambulance to a nearby hospital for medical attention.

A third victim was trapped in the car. Firefighters worked to free the Indiana wreck victim who was then flown to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Another car wreck victim traveled in the medical helicopter for treatment.

Police have not released the victims' names, ages, or conditions.
